ABR TRAILS SKI REPORT --------------------------------------- We received about an inch or less of snow this morning before grooming, but with the high winds the trails needed a pretty thorough re groom and retracking. We tracked all the single tracks and most of the combination trails. All skating lanes were groomed except the dog trails. We have a crew to regroom in the AM and the winds are forecast to stop tonight… With temps in the twenties it looks like a nice weekend of skiing!

ABR Report: The Highlands are looking good! Posted December 2, 2014, 8:22 pm We have been spending much of our grooming time on smoothing out the Highlands (30 k to the south) The trails are coming along quite well and with Wednesdays grooming, and signing we expect some of them to be open Thursday. The rest of the trail system is skiing well with a bit of wind blown snow in the open areas. Another inch or 2 Posted December 1, 2014, 7:50 pm We regroomed about 20 km this morning and took the Pisten Bully into the Highlands to smooth them out to freeze down. Although we have been packing the trails with light equipment and the base is established we still have a few hills on the Highlands that need to freeze. the next few nights should freeze them up well. and we hope to open this area in the next few days…. Meanwhile we are skiing and grooming the front 40 km on our best race or touring skis

We are headed back out in the morning to re-groom classic only and complete the PB Grooming Thursday, 11-13-14 Wolverine Ski Trails We rolled and compacted the trails again today. Trails are beginning to harden up but still may be soft. We plan to groom the trails again tomorrow and possibly set a classic track. Remember that part of the trails remain closed by the land owners until after the firearms deer season; so if it is not groomed, then stay off that part of the trail. It is also best to dress for visibility during deer season.
