Length:  7 miles
Location:  Take Hwy 47 to Powell Road, parking is N. on Powell Road.

12-11-07 North Lakeland Discovery Center: 20km of trails located 1.2 miles north of USH 51 on CTH W. As of this report, trails were packed (3-4" base), rolled and tracked Dec. 5. Designated snowshoe loop. Donations welcome. 1-877-543-2085 or www.discoverycenter.net Powell Trails: 1.5 to 7 mile loops located 6.5 miles west of USH 51 on Powell Road. Trails are volunteer groomed and tracked by the North Lakeland Discovery Center. As of this report, trails were to have been groomed Dec. 7. North Lakeland Elementary School: Located 3 miles east of CTH W on CTH K, trails are volunteer groomed and tracked by the Northwoods Ski Touring Foundation. As of this report, these trails are groomed and tracked and ready for skiers to enjoy. Begin behind the school (just beyond the Hockey Hut warming building) or via Papoose Lake Road.
